The Guild of Machine Knitters in Northern Ireland has been in existence for at least 30 years and started off as just a few ladies who had a common interest - machine knitting!

Since then knitting and crafts have seem many changes, but are now firmly back 'in fashion' as well as being 'green' it is throughly enjoyable!

At our meetings we have talks by members or guest speakers, who speak on a wide range of topics not just on machine knitting but covering many other related crafts, embroidery, felting, jewellery making, hand knitting etc etc.

Many meetings are 'hands on' events as our members always enjoy learning new techniques!  If you have something that you think may interest us, please fill in your details on 'Contact Us' and we will get back to you.

We also have machine knitting workshops, usually over 2 days and members have a choice between a Saturday or Sunday or even to come on both days.  These are days to get you motivated, to learn new techniques or remember old ones - something for all levels of machine knitters!
